Global consequentialism states that
Hence we can see in this situation that there can exist a paradox when a moral action has to be executed. This is because
But then right, I can think of a situation where Global Consequentialism works:
Someone might murder another person because it brings out the greatest good, but it will bring out even better good if he is blamed.
Does that make sense?
simple expectablist
an act is wrong if it is forbidden by the rules the acceptance of which will produce the greatest expected good.
sophisticated expectablist
an act is wrong if it is forbidden either by the rules the acceptance which wil produce the greatest expected good or if there are 2 conflicting moral rules of equal value, by one of them which is closest to the convention of morality.
LIMA (Peru) - A GANG in the remote Peruvian jungle has been killing people for their fat, police charged on Thursday, draining it from their corpses and offering it on the black market for use in cosmetics. Medical experts expressed skepticism that a major market for fat might exist.
Omg more reasons to lose that weight.
Last night I dreamt that I was forced to buy fake Vitagen from the vendor in school but I didn’t want to. He was coercive and later got really angry at my adamance. So he tricked me into buying the fake Vitagen.
I was so mad at the quality of my Vitagen that I sloshed the drink on his face, and there was going to be a full-out brawl.
But somehow when I splashed the Vitagen in the vendor’s face, he wasn’t the drinks stall uncle but the guy from vegetarian stall.
Also I dreamt that there was an event at my house, and everyone was there. But C was so stressed that he _____ in front of everyone.
Weird dreams I have.
